Ingredients for 8 pieces
A kg of flour | 14 eggs | A lemon | 300 g of sugar | 100 ml of milk | 200 g of butter | One
sachet of vanillin
1. We place the flour on top a pastry board, we make a hole in the center and put the butter into small pieces, four eggs and sugar. knead with your hands, then add the milk lukewarm, little by little.
2. We add vanillin and zest of grated lemon. knead well, let’s form a ball and let’s do it rest in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. We cook eight eggs until make them hard.
3. Let’s take a piece of the dough and spread it out until we reach one one centimeter thick. We cut 16 strips and, with the part left, we make eight columbines, using suitable molds.
4. At the center of each columbine we put a hard-boiled egg, fixing it with strips made before (cross them together). Let’s break the eggs left in one bowl, brush all the columbine, put them on a baking sheet and bake at 200 degrees for 40 minutes.
